Dear Families, 

I want to take this opportunity to welcome you to Dwight Elementary School for the 2022-2023 school year. We are prepared to accomplish great things in a supportive and encouraging environment for all students, families and staff. I hope you all had a wonderful summer with time to relax and enjoy your friends and family and ready for the structure and learning a new school year brings! 

This year, our school-based goals include targeted early literacy instruction, deepening small group instruction focused on reading comprehension, differentiating math instruction, and improving student attendance. We are excited to partner with all families to achieve these goals. Together, we can accomplish anything! 

This summer, our PTA has been hugely attentive to the needs of our school building and staff. Johnna Hoffman, with consultation from Charlotte Smith, have totally revamped and restyled our faculty room. It is truly breathtaking! Part of this renovation included the full parent body. An Amazon wish list was sent to parents requesting items that would drastically improve the space. 100% of requested items were purchased. THANK YOU!!! Now, our staff has a serene, beautiful space to enjoy.
